This film narrates the arc of a traveller who discovered through the course of his various journeys that he was always a pilgrim. It is a metaphorical reminder to each of us who is at heart a pilgrim. Even if our journeys on the surface look different, underneath those differences it is the same eternal quest that calls us. Ultimately, we are all walking toward the same mystery.
